Congratulations, Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. McArthur!

Congratulations to KES Teacher of the Year nominee, Mrs. Kristie Taylor and School-Related Employee of the Year nominee, Mrs. Jennifer McArthur!!  Mrs. Taylor (pictured on left) is our awesome KES Media Specialist, and a big encouragement for students to Read, Read, Read!  Mrs. McArthur (pictured on right) is our front office secretary who greets everyone with a big smile every day!  Both are always so helpful to students, parents and staff.  We appreciate, and congratulate you!!

Red Cape Winners

Congratulations to all of our ISIP Reading Proficiency Red Cape Winners!! Great job!!  (Pictured here: Mrs. Owen’s 2nd grade class winners) 

Perfect Attendance Bike Give-Away

Mr. Joe Fisher of Horace Mann Insurance presented Mrs. Lewis with two new bikes to be given away in a December drawing to one lucky boy and girl for having perfect attendance this semester.  Two more bikes will be delivered for the 2nd semester, as well.  Thank you, Mr. Joe!!

Tampa Bay Lightning Street Team Visits KES

Students got a visit from several members of the Tampa Bay Lightning Street Hockey team in May of 2018.  The group included Jassen Cullimore, a member of the 2004 Lightning Stanley Cup winning team.  The 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders attending the sessions each took home a hockey stick and ball to practice the skills they were taught during this visit.  Proper use of the equipment was stressed.  Students also received an autographed picture and ticket for next year’s regular season game.  Thank you, Tampa Bay Lightning Street Hockey team!!!
