KES Celebrates World Down Syndrome Day!
KES helped to raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st, 2018. Students and staff wore brightly colored, mismatched socks to show their support! Our school, led by principal, Nadia Lewis, and teacher, Marlene Robinson, recited our statement:
“It’s ok to be different ~ let’s treat each other like we would like to be treated…with love, kindness & respect!”
